I am a family-first husband and father. I was born, raised, and live in southeast Michigan (with a little detour to Boston, MA).

Professionally, I am a degreed Computer Engineer (the first C.E. program graduate from Kettering University, formerly GMI) on a 25+ year career of building technology for automotive applications and desktop engineering tools. I have experience in many levels of the auto industry, including start-ups and as an independent consultant. I spent the nearly the last two decades at a major desktop software technical computing company, where I lead a global development organization in the creation of powerful Test & Measurement software tools used to accelerate the pace of engineering and science.

My hobbies and interests run amok across a spectrum of reading, finance, strength training, comic books, video games, computers, consumer electronics, audio/video, movies, home theater, hi-fi, music, cars, food, bourbon, travel, and yes, even professional wrestling. Whew, that’s a lot…

With home theater and audio/video as a longtime favorite interest, I took exciting steps to forge deep experience in this space. I built a dedicated home theater room for our family (now on the second iteration). I have independently consulted within the luxury consumer electronics industry. I founded my YouTube channel, Techthusiasm, to create and share video content on my enjoyment of technology related to home theater, hi-fi, movies, video games, and electronics.

Most recently, I have begun to sell and support home theater electronics directly as a dealer. I currently offer the ultimate movie watching platform - Kaleidescape! Please contact me if you are interested in learning more or are considering adding Kaleidescape to your home theater or upgrading an existing system.
