I am a family-first husband and father. I was born, raised, and live in southeast Michigan (with a little detour to Boston).
Professionally, I am a degreed Computer Engineer (the first program graduate from Kettering University) on a 25+ year career of building technology for automotive applications and desktop software tools. I have experience in many levels of the auto industry, including start-ups and as an independent consultant. I spent the last two decades at a major technical computing company, where I lead a global development organization in the creation of powerful Test & Measurement software tools used to accelerate the pace of engineering and science.
My hobbies and interests run amok across a spectrum of reading, finance, strength training, comic books, video games, computers, consumer electronics, audio/video, movies, home theater, hi-fi, music, cars, food, bourbon, travel, and even professional wrestling. Whew, that’s a lot…
With home theater and audio/video as a longtime interest, I have deep experience in this space. I built a dedicated home theater room for our family. I have independently consulted within the luxury consumer electronics industry. I founded my YouTube channel, Techthusiasm, to create and share content on my enjoyment of home theater, hi-fi, movies, video games, and electronics.
Now, Techthusiasm LLC operates as a technology and home theater consultancy, reseller, and integrator being a certified/authorized dealer for many brands and partners. Please contact me if you are interested in learning more or want to empower your home entertainment!
